Key Stage 1
In our Year 1 and Year 2 classes, the curriculum is designed to nurture curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. These early primary years lay the academic and social foundations for future success, following the internationally recognised Cambridge Curriculum while also embracing the principles of our Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) program. Students engage in a balanced mix of academic study and experiential learning. Core subjects — English, Mathematics, and Science — follow the Cambridge framework, ensuring consistency and rigour. Other subjects are enriched with meaningful, hands-on experiences that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and self-expression. At this stage, we place great importance on developing confidence, collaboration, and communication skills, helping students grow into independent and compassionate learners who care for themselves, others, and their environment.
