Mr. Nattapol Aksorn
Khun Ball serves as the School Director. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Business Computer and a Graduate Diploma in the Teaching Profession, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Educational Administration. With over 10 years of experience as a Thai language teacher in an international school, he brings a strong foundation in learner-centered teaching that supports students in developing skills for the 21st century. As a school leader, Khun Balll is committed to fostering academic excellence, promoting professional growth among staff, and guiding the school community toward its goals while maintaining a supportive, engaging, and forward-thinking learning environment.

Mrs. Krista Noonan
Mrs. Krista is the Headteacher at Lamai International School in Koh Samui, Thailand. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Advanced Education. She is passionate about creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. With experience in both teaching and leadership, Mrs. Krista is dedicated to fostering a holistic approach to education that develops academic excellence alongside social, emotional, and personal growth. She strongly believes in collaboration between teachers, students, and families to build a positive school community and support students in becoming compassionate, confident global citizens.

Ms. Brooke holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas State University and a postgraduate degree in Education from Leeds Beckett University. With over 10 years of teaching experience, she believes in creating a supportive and engaging classroom where every child feels valued and inspired to achieve their best. She currently serves as Deputy Head Teacher, where she focuses on strengthening the school community, supporting teachers, and making a positive impact on students’ learning and wellbeing. Ms. Nica is a dedicated FS1 and Music teacher at LIS, passionate about creating a joyful and nurturing learning environment for young children. She believes every child has the right to learn, explore, and shine when given care, patience, and encouragement. Ms. Nica finds great joy in watching her students grow, building confidence, discovering their creativity, developing new skills, and leaving the classroom feeling proud and happy. This is her third year teaching in Thailand, where she continues to bring energy, creativity, and compassion into the classroom. For the past six years, Ms. Jasmine has taught in both online and classroom settings, experiences that have shaped her belief in the importance of belonging and creativity in learning. Ms. Jasmine enjoys weaving hands-on projects and team-based activities into her lessons, giving students the chance to connect their learning to the real world and to one another. Mr. Brandon Loots
Mr. Bollie is from South Africa and has over seven years of teaching experience in Asia, including in China and Thailand. Geography is his favourite subject, inspired by his love of travelling and exploring new places. He believes teaching is not only about sharing knowledge but also about learning from others. His Year 3 classroom is a safe and welcoming space where respect, inclusiveness, and fun are central to learning. Music is a regular part of the classroom environment, and students are encouraged to learn with energy and creativity. Outside of school, Mr. Bollie enjoys running, playing badminton and rugby, riding his motorbike to new destinations, camping, surfing, DJing, and enjoying a good braai.

Miss Brenda Wong
Ms. Brenda received her degree in Arts and Social Sciences with a double major in International Studies and Communications from Monash University, Australia. She has six years of teaching experience in both Thai private and international schools. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in inclusiveness, with a strong focus on student wellbeing and holistic development. She is passionate about creating a supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to grow. Miss Anna Doherty
Ms. Anna, originally from Britain and Germany, holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Primary School Education and has taught in international schools across Asia, South America, and Europe. These experiences shaped her love for diverse classrooms and global learning. Her teaching philosophy centers on project-based and independent learning, inspiring children to explore, take ownership, and see themselves as lifelong learners and global citizens. Outside the classroom, he enjoys photography, pottery, macramé, hiking, horse riding, and going to the gym. He brings a strong sense of creativity, curiosity, and enjoyment into his teaching, helping students develop confidence and self-expression.

Mr. Sam Hewat
Mr. Sam is the Physical Education and Swimming teacher, supporting students in building confidence, fitness, and teamwork through fun, high-energy lessons. With more than 10 years of teaching experience in Thailand, Mr. Sam creates engaging classes that encourage students to stay active, try new skills, and enjoy movement both in the gym and in the pool. He believes that making mistakes is a natural and important part of learning and helps students feel comfortable challenging themselves in a positive, supportive environment. Outside the classroom, Mr. Sam enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and leading a healthy lifestyle . With over 8 years of experience in international schools, he is passionate about making Thai language learning accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful. He believes students learn best in a fun, engaging environment that builds confidence and develops essential skills. Through age-appropriate and interactive lessons, Khru Knot supports student motivation and a love of learning. Outside the classroom, he enjoys watching movies and series, as well as spending time in nature exploring beautiful places. Ms. Siriporn Wanyala (Kru Nam) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education, majoring in IT, and a Teaching Professional Certificate from Suratthani Rajabhat University. With 14 years of experience in both international and local schools, she is passionate about making learning meaningful, fun, and connected to daily life. Kru Nam believes learning can happen anytime and anywhere, both inside and outside the classroom. She encourages students to recognize their own value, believe in themselves, and work with effort and determination to succeed. By linking Thai language and culture to everyday experiences, she inspires curiosity, supports students in finding answers, and helps them explore their potential while guiding them to become confident, thoughtful, and lifelong learners.

Khru Bowling
Khru Bowling holds a degree in Learning Sciences from Thammasat University and is currently continuing her Master’s studies in Human Development. She enjoys working with children and has experience teaching Thai language and designing playful activities that support learning and growth. She also works as a playworker with homeschool groups, where creativity and exploration are central to the learning process. Khru Bowling believes that when teachers and students build positive relationships and children feel safe in the classroom, they develop the confidence to explore, take risks, and enjoy learning. Outside of school, she enjoys crafting with recycled seaside treasures, exploring nature through flowers, trees, and insects, and backpacking to discover new places.
