Application Process
Enrolling your child at LIS – Lamai International School, Koh Samui will open their eyes to a world of learning and a global community of students.
We encourage you to make contact with us as soon as possible so that we can help you to find a place in our school.

MAKE AN APPLICATION
Requirements for any application 1. Completed application form 2. Copy of student passport/ID card 3. Copy of parents passport/ID card 4. Students school records Please note that we are unable to process any application until all required documentation has been received. Submission of an application form does not guarantee a place, and year groups can fill up very quickly. We advise submitting complete applications as early as possible.

ASSESSMENT
We are a non-selective school, but we will assess the following applicants: 1. Any non-native speaker, or any child who is bilingual in English and another language will be asked to take an English language assessment. 2. All foundation students will be assessed to check their readiness for school entry. 3. Applicants with any potential learning needs should meet with the Head of School.

APPLICATION REVIEW
Applications will be reviewed taking into consideration the results of any assessments, school reports, and availability of places. We will contact you as soon as possible to advise whether we are able to offer a place.

OFFER MADE
If your application has been successful, you will receive a formal offer email of acceptance from the Head of School. Please note that you are not guaranteed a place until you receive this email. If we are not able to offer a place you will receive a letter to explain the reasons why. Once a place has been offered, parents have a limited period in which to accept the place. The entrance and tuition fees should be settled by the due date stated on the invoice.
